Oh hey, no big deal. Just me with one of my internet heroes @fuckyeaherikamoen. And she’s the loveliest and dealt with my awkwardness with such grace!
Oh my gosh, I flushed bright red when I saw this (I’m one of your internet heroes??? But, you’re one of mine!). I’ve enjoyed Katie West’s essays so much, she’s an incredible writer that makes me feel physical sensation when I read her essays and short stories- I’ve gotten real goosebumps, I’ve felt punched in the gut,I’m tempted to say something about “all the feels” but I won’t.
Haha, and what she calls “awkwardness” I’d perceived as poised and composed and very patient when I asked if she’d let me get a photo with her like a starstruck fan because, oh my gosh, I was meeting Katie West!
I don’t know how to end this, so I’ll just close by saying TCAF was amazing and I’m so grateful I got to meet all these amazing people this past weekend in Toronto.
