Speaking to the City Commissioners about the Library

Yesterday I joined a couple dozen Portlanders to testify to our commissioners that we do not want out libraries to have their funding cut, to oppose the laying off of 80-100 librarians, and that our library should be assigned its own district to provide it permanent funding.

I’m usually not terribly involved in local politics, so this was all very exciting!
