Oh my goodness,  EVERYONE (who is interested in tights/legwear) READ THIS. I am feeling hella enlightened.

And I’m super glad to learn about the Suspender Industrial Garter Belt and Double Grip Clips! The fastening things on my garter belt are super frustrating, it’s this little nob that you have to put under the fabric that then gets pushed through this loop thing? Way more complicated than a regular old clip, but it was my only option at the shop and I didn’t have any basis for comparison.

Ah, a traditional/classic garter clip! I have blogged about this for work. That style of garter clip is pretty great for styles that don’t have a double-thickness cuff, or raw-topped stockings (which, you can just cut the panty part off of a pair of tights and make stockings, it’s a great way to deal with tights that are a little too short or blown out in the crotch). For general use the suspender-style garter clip is nice, because it bites on everything.
